Liberation Iannillo

IMPACTFUL: SAP was a high profile Technology project that impacted the entire A+E enterprise as it allowed A+E to make better informed business decisions. Focusing on the idea of financial liberation, I drew inspiration from WW2 posters, Shepard Fairy, and M.I.A.’s video for ‘Paper Planes.’

Working with stakeholders, I kicked off with a series of workshops to come up with an impactful name. In the workshops we discussed how to choose a strong, inspiring, inclusive name and how to avoid names that lent themselves well to parody – for example, UFO.

The stakeholders narrowed it down to three names which were then put out to a vote via email. The results were unanimous and the project was named Flyte.

The impactful branding was used for email communications, desk drops, posters, PowerPoint presentations, and short-form video. The finance team was proud of the materials as this unconventional branding was well received by their business partners and were proud to use it.
